A £500 deposit will be taken from all on line bidders prior to the auction.
The deposit can be taken from a debit or credit card when registering at www.tsauction.co.uk
Deposits from unsuccessful bidders will be refunded in full the day following the auction.
(The auctioneers will not be held responsible for any deficit in deposit refunds as a result of exchange rate fluctuations.)
Deposits will be retained by the auctioneer should any purchaser default on payment.
Signups for this auction are provisional and subject to the approval of the auctioneer who will notify bidders by email.
There will be a buyers’ premium of 10% plus VAT added to the hammer price of all lots.
There will be an internet charge of 1% plus VAT added to the hammer price of all lots.
All lots will be subject to the addition of VAT at the standard rate.
Descriptions: All lots have been described to the best of our ability from information supplied. No liability whatsoever is undertaken in respect of faults, deficiencies and errors of description either oral or printed. There are some new & unused tools and also some lots that will be only suitable for spares. ALL LOTS ARE SOLD AS SEEN WITHOUT WARRANTY and are available for inspection prior to sale. No lot is warranted complete.
Prospective purchasers should be aware that there are no EU certificates of conformity available.
Any lifting equipment is sold on the understanding that it does not have any current LOLER certificates or similar and purchasers are responsible to test prior to use.
All lots are sold on the understanding that they are for spares or repair only without any warranty. We strongly recommend that you view before bidding.
Viewing will be from 9.30 am – 4pm on Tuesday 31st October & Wednesday 1st November 2017. Viewing is also available the day of the auction. Wifi is available for those wanting to bid from site.
Bidding will start from 8am on Wednesday 1st November 2017 and close from 12 noon on Thursday 2nd November 2017. The closing time of each batch of 12 lots will be staggered by 1 minute. If a bid is made on any lot during the final five minutes the bidding time of that lot will automatically be extended for a further ten minutes.
Invoices will be sent to successful purchasers by email on Thursday 2nd November. No sale is confirmed until an invoice has been issued.
Please note that all lots remain at the risk of the buyer from the fall of the hammer and it is strongly advised to effect insurance immediately.
All lots should be paid for immediately and removed from site as soon as possible after the auction, but in any event no later than 4pm on Tuesday 7th November. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The premises will be closed for collection on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th November.
Methods of payment are: Cash (see notes below), bank transfer, debit card, credit card (subject to a 2% plus VAT surcharge).

Payment in Cash: In order to comply with money laundering regulations we will not accept payments in cash exceeding £9,000. Cash payments in excess of £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity ie passport/driving licence, supported by 2 utility bills, bank statement or equivalent. Cash payments via your bank will no longer be permitted. The Auctioneers will only accept payment from and permit removal of goods purchased by the successful purchased or their duly appointed agent. No lots will be transferred to third party invoices after the auction.
For the avoidance of doubt please note that this auction will be conducted in British pounds.
EU CONFORMITY – Purchasers must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of equipment for export markets and the auctioneers accept no liability in any respect whatsoever. Certificates of Conformity are not supplied with equipment but in most cases will be available from the manufacturer.
