BIDDING: Started at 12 noon on Wednesday 10th July and ends from 12 noon on Friday 2nd August 2019.
The closing time of each batch of 2 lots will be staggered by 2 minutes, thus enabling unsuccessful bidders to bid on subsequent lots.
If a bid is made on any lot during the final five minutes the bidding time of that lot will be automatically extended for a further five minutes.
DEPOSIT: No deposit will be taken.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: There is no Buyer’s Premium.
DESCRIPTIONS: Please see descriptions of each lot and any special terms.
INVOICES: Invoices will be sent out by email to successful bidders. Please make sure to check junk mailboxes for emails. Payment will be due on receipt of invoice.
PAYMENT METHODS: Cash (see notes below), bank transfer, or cheque made payable to The Charity Race Day.

Payment in Cash: This may be done at the race day on the 6th August. In order to comply with money laundering regulations, payments in cash exceeding £9,000 cannot be accepted. Cash payments in excess of £4,000 must be accompanied by valid proof of identity i.e. passport/driving licence, supported by 2 utility bills, bank statement or equivalent.
DELIVERY OF VOUCHERS: These will be sent to the Buyers once payment has been received or may be collected in person at the Charity Race Day at Newbury on the 6th August, when it will be necessary to provide proof of identity.
VAT: There is no VAT on any lot.
