BIDDING: Will end from noon on Tuesday 16th March 2021.
For those who cannot register to bid online or do not have the hardware to do so we are happy to exercise commission bids on your behalf.
The closing time of each batch lots will be staggered by 1 minute. If a bid is made on any lot during the final five minutes the bidding time on that lot will automatically be extended for a further five minutes.
DEPOSITS: Sign ups for this auction are provisional and subject to the approval of the auctioneer who will notify bidders by email. A £500 deposit will be taken from all bidders on registering for this auction at bid.tsauction.co.uk
This can be paid by credit or debit card, however, we do not accept credit cards to settle the balance of an invoice.
Deposits from unsuccessful bidders will be refunded in full the day following the auction. It can take several working days for your bank to affect a refund.
(The auctioneers will not be held responsible for any deficit in deposit refunds as a result of exchange rate fluctuations.)
Deposit will be retained by the Auctioneer should any purchaser default on payment.
BUYERS’ PREMIUM: There will be buyers’ premium of 20% (+VAT) added to the hammer price of all lots subject to a minimum of £2.50 (+VAT) per lot.
VAT at the standard rate will be added to the hammer price of all lots.
DESCRIPTIONS: All lots have been described from information supplied. No liability whatsoever is undertaken in respect of faults, deficiencies and errors of description either oral or printed. There are some unused tools and also some lots that will be only suitable for spares. ALL LOTS ARE SOLD AS SEEN WITHOUT WARRANTY and are available for inspection prior to sale (refer to Viewing), therefore all lots are sold on the understanding that they may be suitable for spares or repair only without any warranty. We strongly recommend that you view before bidding. Lots 751 - 765 are sold as being for spares/repair only.
Please note that bidding at auction constitutes an irrevocable and binding agreement to purchase. We recommend that you carefully examine any items you intend to bid on as refunds will not be given for Buyer’s Remorse.
INVOICES: will be emailed to successful purchasers on closure of the sale.
Payment must be made by bank transfer. No payments can be made in person. Bank details will be found on your invoice.
REMOVAL OF GOODS: All lots remain at the risk of the purchaser from the fall of the hammer and must be paid for immediately.

EU CONFORMITY – Purchasers must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of equipment for export markets and the auctioneers accept no liability in any respect whatsoever. Certificates of Conformity are not supplied with equipment but in most cases will be available from the manufacturer. It shall be the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure safe use of any lots purchased and comply with all relevant legislation regarding safe use of such lots.
OVERSEAS PURCHASERS - We will do our utmost to assist with the new post Brexit export regulations. We are aware that the new requirement for customs declarations when purchasing goods from the our UK sales and exporting to the EU will increase the complication from buying from our sales All export buyers must contact us prior to purchasing to clarify what extra information you will require. We will provide our EORI number on all invoices and can arrange customs declarations at cost. We are signed up with Customs Clearance Agents who will assist us with relevant declarations to enable equipment to leave England. The purchaser is responsible for all transportation from there onwards.
You should ensure that the country of destination has no import or currency restrictions on the goods they wish to purchase. Our normal terms of business otherwise apply and payment is due in full on the day of sale. Please note all new overseas purchasers will be required to pay a VAT deposit.

This will only be refunded on receipt of valid proof of exportation (bill of lading) in compliance with H. M. Customs and Excise Notice 703 paragraph 3.5.To be valid the goods must be exported within three months of the date of sale and valid proof thereof must be provided within the same time limit
